Yarn: Fingering weight
Yardage:
MC - 700yds / 640m
CC - 740yds / 677m
If you are using the recommended yarn, you will need 2 skeins MC (Yak Single) + 4 skeins CC (Melted Baby Suri)
Shown in:
Qing Fibre Yak Single
(65% Merino Wool, 20% Silk, 15% Yak; 437yds / 400m per 100g skein)
MC - Antique Rose
Qing Fibre Melted Baby Suri
(65% Suri Alpaca, 20% Wool, 15% Silk; 191yds / 175m per 50g skein)
CC - Peachy
If you are using a fluffy alpaca or mohair yarn, I recommend using it as the CC for a fluffy background.
You can knit this pattern with any fingering weight yarn! You don’t need to have a fluffy yarn for the CC if you want a smoother non-fluffy shawl fabric. Using two colors of fingering weight wool will also make a beautiful graphic Brioshoreline Shawl.
