Briogarter Split Shawl

This top-down shawl is knit with two skeins of West Wool Bicycle for the main color and four skeins of Spincycle Yarns Dyed in the Wool for the self-striping contrast color. Increases in the center form the wide two-color brioche section with simple garter stitch framing the center ribbing. The garter stitch gives a relaxing break from the brioche rhythm as you knit this seamless pattern. The simple stitch combination produces a completely reversible shawl, so you can see the main color more on the right side or enjoy the colorful Spincycle yarn more on the wrong side. The top-down construction and short pattern repeat, makes this pattern easy to customize. Simply bind off early for a smaller shawl or keep knitting until you achieve the shlanket of your dreams!
