Finished Measurements: 15 (19, 23)” / 38 (48, 58)cm across back measured from left underarm to right underarm.
Small size is designed to fit a 32-40” / 81-102cm chest circumference.
Medium size is designed to fit a 40-48” / 102-122cm chest circumference.
Large size is designed to fit a 48-56” / 122-142cm chest circumference.
The front is very drapey so the most important measurement is achieving the appropriate back width measured from left underarm to right underarm.
7 (9, 10)” / 18 (23, 25)cm yoke depth. Yoke depth is customizable.
Red Medium Size Length - 38” / 97cm long from underarm. Length is customizable. There is a shorter length option available in the pattern so you can decide the length while you knit the top-down sweater.
9.5 (11, 12.5)” / 24 (28, 32)cm upper arm circumference, upper arm stretches up to 17 (19, 21)” / 43 (48, 53)cm circumference for a fitted sleeve.
Sleeve length is customizable.
Yarn: Worsted weight
Hold 2 strands of fingering weight yarn together to get a marled effect.
Yardage: Small - approximately 750-850g total
Medium - approximately 1000-1100g total
Large - approximately 1200-1300g total
Yoke, Cuffs, and Bottom Ribbed Edge
If you are using Qing Fibre Melted Suri, you will need 3 (3, 4) skeins of Melted Suri. 150 (150, 200)g total is required for both strands of yarn in the yoke, cuffs, & bottom ribbed edge. Hold the fluffy suri alpaca together with a fingering wool.

Body & Sleeves
Use a variety of fingering weight yarns held double. Add some Qing Fibre Melted Suri or lace weight mohair silk for fluffy stripes.
Needles: 40” US 8 / 5mm circular
Notions: 4 stitch markers, tapestry needle
Gauge: 18 sts & 38 rows = 4” / 10cm in garter stitch
Errata:
Body, Row 3 (RS): the end of the row should read: “…k to m, slm, k4 5, 6, (p4 5, 6, k4 5, 6) twice. 2 sts decreased.”
